Warning Sign

I'm writing this and here is your warning sign; WARNING THIS BLOG POST INCLUDES BAD ART

There, consider yourself warned. This is what I did today.

The writing I drew on is T.S Eliot's Wasteland. You might be able to see the circled words better in this picture... but it is not garunteed. Other than that it is just a load of biro and blue paint.

I know... but you can't have everything. This artwork was inspired by some work done by 11 year olds.

If you really can't see it the words say

Fly!
Good-by
And
sing

sunset snarled and rattled
I wish
so much
to prove
(to leap)

the dark of ether
The watcher listened
for miles he did his chores

one night
cross lots
of lantern light
the icy crust cased the world
he was gone!

buried.

  1. That's pretty cool. You could win the Turner Prize with that, love.

  2. Shame it is based on the work of another artist.

I am planning on defacing a whole book with my painting and scribbling, though, as it was so enjoyable to do.
