Chiquitia

I'm writing today's post from the mindset of having already decided what I want to write about so having to twist the random title to fit my purposes.

Luckily for me Chiquita roughly translates to 'Little Girl' and there isn't a single candidate on Creepy Smarmy Children in Suits that isn't a little girl. Don't get me wrong there are male little girls on Junior Apprentice, this is just my not-so-sneaky way of twisting the title to fit.

It is not often that I crawl out of my bedroom to watch the tv but Junior Apprentice has become a must-see. Last night's episode was a cracker.

First of all I think I will briefly introduce the potential junior Apprentices.

Adam- 17 years old- the candidate that Lord Sugar can see himself in, which part of himself is yet to be seen. He left school to start his own business selling fishing equipemnt- an endeavour that seemingly cut and bruised his hands as he had to point out to Lord Sugar in an attempt to save himself. Watch out Adam, that talk of hard work might get Lord Sugar hot under the collar. On a side note, Adam also seemingly has a keen interest in shoes.

Arjun- 17, he runs a computer repair business from his bedroom. As far as I can tell he spends most of his time looking years younger than he is.

Emma- 16- 'Sells Eggs and Sweets for a Living' I would imagine she also combines the two to sell those fried egg sweets, hard to know... also creme eggs- do they count as sweets? Emma was the brightspark who thought that cardboard was a good material to make camping products from. Probably the first time she got to speak on the show and she made a cock-up. whoops. Oh sorry it is *reinforced* cardboard, this is bound to make all the difference..... it will probably last a whole week.

Hannah- 17- aka 'The other blonde' (I know I haven't mentioned blonde NO1 yet but Hannah is definitely the other one rather than the original.) She is the only candidate to have won the task twice in the two weeks.

Hibah- 16- Does well at school. Wants to start a cosmetic surgery business... I bet there will be lots of people rushing to get surgery from a child. Oh the novelty.

Kirsty- 17- aka- 'The Little Scottish Girl' not much else to say really- she is little and Scottish.

Rhys-17- He constantly looks like he is about to cry. He hasn't had a good run so it so far, after clashing with his project manager last week this week he seemed to disappear into the oblivion. All considered it's unsurprising that he looks like he might cry really.

Tim- Apparently 17 - He looks like he has been placed on the show to supervise the children. I can only hope he turns out to be a journalist in disguise... all right, not a very good disguise. 17 year olds don't have beards!

Zoe- 16- 'The Blonde' Also the girl with the reddest lipstick in the whole wide world. She spends most of the show pouting about not having her own way and arguing with people. I think she is auditioning to be a model- well, sorry Zoe it's not working but you are at least entertaining.

Last night they had to design camping equipment and make a pitch to places that sell camping equipemnet. The highlight was the cardboard design to put things in (like shoes- says shoes-obsessed Adam). In the board meeting the product sat sagging in the corner- even it knew they were defeated and it was a rubbish design. As a result Hibah was fired because she had an education and Adam was more Lord Sugar like.

Hibah may not be the junior apprentice but she could still be Dorothy. I Bet Adam wishes he could be Dorothy with his strong interest in shoes. A pair of ruby slippers would do him nicely
